Illustrations should provide the rate and fee specific to the illustration. Currently it can sometimes be contained within the Lender reference field. But very often this is not the case. Impact to me is that I have to find a way of extracting the rate and fee from the field. If it is not shown which is also very common, I then have to try and find a product guide for the lender for that particular time – e.g. 20th June 2023 and then apply the rate.
Provide details of the fee in any product searches, and illustration searches. Currently the fees are provided calculated against the loan size which is great for the broker, but to allow analysis by lenders, specifying the fee would be useful. i.e £795, or 2.5% (max £5,000)
Provide details of the ERC in any product searches, and illustration searches. i.e. 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1% for a 5 year fix.
